Philippe Petit, the subject of the Caldecott-winning picture book The Man Who Walked Between the Towers, is the topic of a new hit documentary film
“Man on Wire”, a new documentary film about Philippe Petit’s daring walk between the World Trade Center towers in 1974, is a New York Times Critics’ Pick and Winner of a Jury Prize and Audience Award at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival.
